Sex toys for everyone!
An area of the sex toy industry, which has long been associated with er..interesting-looking (at best) blow up dolls and pocket vaginas, is starting to develop a newer, classier offering: adult toys for the man.
Amongst the number of rather seedy looking toys on the market, there are now products for men that match the quality of girl’s toys. They are well researched and produced to be pleasing to the eye and the body. But are the boys excited or not, Make Love decided to find out.
We decided to run a survey on a selection of men to find out for ourselves if one of those new toys was all it was cracked up to be.
The product: Tenga 3D is a new pleasure object which comes in 5 versions each with a unique design. The are super easy to use and designed to simulate oral sex.
The product is reversible (each side has a different texture, to mix up the sensations) and of high quality body safe silicone. It is super easy to clean (lukewarm water and soap) and can therefore be reused, which is one of the main differences to our usual pocket vagina. In fact, the design makes this even a good looking object to have sat on your bedside table.
We gave away 20 of these toys to our favourite men and asked them to fill in a survey a couple of weeks later….
Was the product intuitive and easy to use? 100% of men said yes it was, there were some basic instructions to follow but I guess when faced with a toy with a hole in one end it’s pretty obvious what they need to do with it!
Did you prefer using the smooth or rough/patterned surface of the toy? The smooth surface came out lower at 22% with the rough patterned surface being preferred by 78%.
How many times did you use the toy? The vast majority of boys (88%) used this toy up to 30 times, with the rest using it up to 50 times. This is clearly something this man-toy has over others – it’s hygienic and easy to clean and re-use!
Do you think the toy offers good value for money priced at $49? 90% agreed that yes this was worthy of the dosh outlay.
Would you incorporate this toy into sex with your partner? The majority of guys said that they would use the toy by themselves, when they are not with their partner with the main reason being that ‘it’s good, but not as good as the real thing’. Surprisingly 22% said they could imagine using the toy to enhance sex with their girlfriend.
Would you purchase other adult toys for men and women? All of our men said yes, they would definitely buy a toy either for themselves or their partners, it they didn’t already have one.
