With the opening of Australia’s first women only sex club in Sydney we ask the question – how many people out there wonder about their sexual beliefs and whether they’ve changed.
The new format sex club strictly for women, called Skirt Club, started 3 years ago in London and their success has taken them into venue’s across the US and now Australia. They run elegant parties giving women a unique experience to explore their sexuality in a safe, fun and flirtatious environment.

Many women identify with themselves as being ‘straight’ but may be confused about how inquisitive they are around each other – and perhaps that needs exploring.
Research shows us that we’re not alone. It’s not unusual to feel like we have tendencies which may need exploring.
The Kinsey Scale
Almost 70 years ago a team of doctor’s created the ‘Hetrosexual-Homosexual Rating Scale’ – otherwise known as ‘The Kinsey Scale’. They interviewed thousands of people about their sex lives and the research showed that we weren’t always consistent with our sexual behaviour and feelings towards the same or opposite sex.
We are familiar with the terms hetrosexual, bisexual and homosexual. The Kinsey Scale used a 7 point scale ranging from 0 (hetrosexual) to 6 (homosexual) with everything in between as variations of bisexual. There was an additional category ‘X’ which rated those with no socio-sexual contacts or reactions, poor them.

6 | Exclusively homosexual
X | No socio-sexual contacts or reactions
